Elham Choubdar, a queer activist along with Zahra Sediqi (Sarah) were introduced by the judiciary on charges of promoting homosexuality, members of the women and young girls trafficking gang and corruptors of the earth and their death sentence was confirmed. On September 14th, it was announced that this verdict can be appealed. Pascal Martin, a member of the French Parliament, took over the political sponsorship of Elham Choubdar. Martin warned that Elham could be executed at any moment simply because she was a lesbian and queer activist. Martin stressed that Elham Choubdar should be released as soon as possible. According to the latest news, the death sentence of Zahra Sediqi (Sarah) has been overturned in the Supreme Court.
