Mohammad Hassan was a student of business management at Babol Azad University. It was a while since he had dropped out of university to work. He was killed by the Iranian authorities during the 2022 protests, two days after posting this tweet, “Personally, I’ll attend a symbolic protest [for #MahsaAmini] if I see one here in Babol.”
Kiamars Torkamaan, his father, was a prisoner of war in the Iran-Iraq war. After hearing the news of Mohammad Hassan’s death, he suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the CCU ward.
The security forces pressured Mohammad Hassan’s family to say that was killed in an accident, otherwise they would not hand over the body.
